Syria today

And still the world sits on its collective hands. Tens, maybe hundreds, of thousands of people have taken, bravely, to the streets again to protest at their lack of basic human rights and their brutal suppression by the Assad family. And once again they are being murdered by the Syrian state. What does it take for the EU or the UN to actually at least take the first small steps towards doing the right thing and to start to act against Bashar al-Assad?
