How Google tried to censor this website

Free speech Orwell 650

This is utterly unbelievable, Orwellian. Google’s slogan is “Don’t be Evil”. But in the email below you can see that they are being very evil indeed, trying to force me to follow the Zionist party line. They want to censor my criticism of the Talmud and have withdrawn my advertising income unless I do what they say. This is utterly disgusting and gives you an idea just how much power these tech giants have and how much they abuse it. Throwing their considerable weight around to promote their political view. A point I made in an earlier article (click here to open).

In their email Google say that they ” believe strongly in the freedom of expression”. But this is a self evident lie.

They say their censorship is because of “violent content”. But this is utterly subjective and would rule out every news website. If you go and look at the article (click here to see it) you will see that it contains nothing untoward. If it is violent then it is because the Talmud is violent!

They also want to censor my anti Zionism throughout the whole Bruce on Politics blog; “be aware that the URL above is just an example and that the same violations may exist on other pages of this website”. This really is utterly execrable behaviour. Google are, self evidently, the enemy of our freedom of speech and thus of our basic human rights.

Here is the email:

  1. If you hadn’t noticed your website is still up. You can still spout your nonsense, as is your right. However, Google have the right not to associate with it and as such not pay you advertising income.

  2. In the same way you have a right to freedom of expression, do not Google have a right to limit their advertising service to places where they feel comfortable? As I understand it, they are not restricting your access to the internet, but considering withdrawing their advertising service?

  3. Lol, just stop monetizing the page. They’re your client, if you don’t like the terms they do business on don’t do business with them.

This isn’t censorship and they only have weigh to throw around because you want money from them.
