Putin’s rise from intelligence officer to President was meteoric. Just 22 months. This was pretty much an FSB coup d’etat against the Russian people and against democracy. It was utterly ruthless. 294 innocent Russians were killed when their apartments were blown up in false flag explosions.
July 1998 Appointed as head of FSB. The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (Russian: Федеральная служба безопасности Российской Федерации (ФСБ); Federal’naya sluzhba bezopasnosti Rossiyskoy Federatsii) is the principal security agency of the Russian Federation and the main successor agency to the USSR’s Committee of State Security (KGB). Its main responsibilities are within the country and include counter-intelligence, internal and border security, counter-terrorism, and surveillance as well as investigating some other types of grave crimes and federal law violations.
November 1998 Galina Starovoitova assassinated, presumably by the FSB. A major opposition leader, fighter of corruption and campaigner for rights she was a major thorn in the side of the government. She also fought against the rise of the FSB and Putin.
August 1999 Appointed Prime Minister by Yeltsin.
September 1999 Apartment bombings, attributed to FSB, killed 293 and injured 651 people in a false flag action. These created huge instability in Russia which Putin used to seize power and to start the second Chechyn war.
December 1999 Became acting President when Yeltsin unexpectedly and suddenly resigned. It doesn’t take much imagination to know why.
March 2000 Elected President with widespread voting fraud.
Anyone who has to deal with Putin would do well to know this timeline and what it means about the man. He is a psychopath who acts without planning. Happy to take immense risks and to be utterly ruthless. It is not like dealing with a normal, rational, well adjusted human being.
